3281989 - Error message "Shipping Readiness" has value "Not Ready" when posting Good Issue with EWM and Transport involved

You are using a system with EWM and ASR (Advanced Shipping & Receiving), with Transports involved. When trying to post the good issue of the outbound delivery, the error below occurs:

Activity "Create Delivery" is not permitted; reason: status "Shipping Readiness" has value "Not Ready".   Message Number: /SCDL/AF041

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD

1. Go to the App Run Outbound Process- Deliveries;
2. Select the Outbound delivery (that is ASR relevant);
3. Try to post Good Issue;
4. Error occurs.

 

 

As this outbound delivery has transports involved, you have to confirm that everything is ready so that the transportation planning can start. If no transportation is involved this step is not required and can be done automatically. However, as this is ASR( Advanced Shipping & Receiving), with transport involved, you guys should set this with the Shipping Readiness Status.

 

The shipping readiness status is visible on the outbound delivery order header. It indicates whether an outbound delivery order is ready for shipping.

When the delivery quantity has been picked, and there are no more changes regarding delivery quantity or handling units (HUs), the shipping readiness status of the delivery can be set to Ready.

When a delivery is ready to ship, you manually select the Set to Ready for Shipping method in the warehouse monitor under Outbound -Documents - Outbound Delivery Order, in the Set to Ready for Shipping button.
