3282072 - Unable to change the option "Allow employees to download the calendar file for Time"

Symptom

Error encountered "You cannot change the existing entry in the "Enable Recalculation" field" while attempting to change "Allow employees to download the calendar file for Time" to Yes under Manage Data >Time Management Configuration.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Data > Time Management Configuration
  2. Set "Allow employees to download the calendar file for Time Off" as Yes
  3. Encountered error "You cannot change the existing entry in the "Enable Recalculation" field"

Cause

  • Enable Recalculation set to No with existing open recalculation event

Resolution

  • The system evaluates current open recalculation events based on Time Management Configuration parameters such as Enable Recalculation and Earliest Possible Recalculation Date.
  • It is advised that any existing open recalculation events be cleaned under manage data > Time Management Recalculation Event for successful Time Management Configuration modifications.
