Symptom

  • Executing sp_showplan and dbcc sqltext often fails with an "infected with signal 11" error in the module prSQLTEXT():
    Current process (0x34f700c4) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x0000000000fa354c (prSQLTEXT+0x184), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0x00000001000000d7)
  • This error is followed by a stack trace with that includes functions:
    prSQLTEXT   
    exec_dbcc       
    s_execute
