Business catalog with price category 'Advanced' is assigned to a business role. But the price category of the business role is listed as 'Self Service'.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The Access Category "Write, Read, Value Help" of the business role is maintained as "No Access".
The Access Categories "Write, Read and Value Help" only affects the Price Category in the Business Role if it's set to "No Access". In this case, if the role is read-only, the Price Category will change to Self-Service.
However, once the role is set to "Restricted" or "Unrestricted", it will follow the catalogs price category.
Resolution
Update the The Access Category "Write, Read, Value Help" to "Restricted" or "Unrestricted" using the Maintain Business Roles app, the price category of the business role will update to "Advanced".
