3283055 - Error with Job Codes are active and valid. (Check ID: JDMInvalidJobCode) - Job Description Manager

When running the checks for Job Description Manager application in Admin Center > Check Tool, issue(s) for the check "JDMInvalidJobCode" can be found.

Migration from Job Description Manager to Job Profile Builder fails if an invalid or inactive Job Code is found.

This can be resolved via Quick Fix which will automatically remove the association between the job code and roles for those roles that are not mapped to any users. Please follow the below steps to ensure the Quick Fix runs as expected:

1. Confirm if the Job Code should be active. If the job code should be active, tie the job code to an active user to reactivate it.
2. For the remaining Job Codes that should be inactive, run the Quick Fix. (Available for users with permission "Allow Check Tool Quick Fix" granted in RBP):
   1. Click the results and will see the three-step process at the top of the Detailed Results dialog;
      • NOTE: Steps 1 & 2 currently show the message keys which will not display the correct message until the 2H 2024 (b2411) release. The keys mean the following:
        • ???CHECKTOOL_JDM_INVALIDJOBCODE_QUICKFIX?? = Remove Association Between Job Code and Roles 
        • ???CHECKTOOL_JDM_INVALIDJOBCODE_QUICKFIX_DESCRIPTION??? = This quick fix automatically removes the association between the job code and roles for those roles that are not mapped to any users 
   2. Complete all three steps to fix the sequence issue, providing your approval for the data selected, and click Close to complete the process;
      NOTE: Procedure can be found in the Using the Quick Fix Feature section of the Check Tool Guide
   3. Run the check again to verify if the fix was completed successfully
