3283423 - Employee Time status is set to Cancelled when trying to change the Approval status on Manage Data

• You would like to change the status of a Absence request from 'Pending' to 'Approved' through the Manage Time Off Structures/Manage Data tools.
• However, upon changing the status to 'Approved' and saving, you have noticed that the status has been changed to 'Cancelled'.

1. Create an Absence request for an Employee that requires Approval
2. Go to Manage Time Off Structures > Employee Time > Insert the Employee Time ID (Learn how on KBA 2680786 - External Code of an Employee Time / Leave Request)
3. Change the status from 'Pending' to 'Approved'
4. Observe that the status is now 'Cancelled'.

Expected behavior.

• You should never change data through Manage Time Off Structures - This tool is strictly for admin views.
• If you need to change the approver of a Time Request, you should go to Manage Workflow Requests > Take Action > Change Approvers
