3283676 - Unable to update/edit existing codelist description from SDK

You are trying to edit the description of existing codelist and it is not reflected even after saving (save and activate) from SDK.

• SAP Cloud for Customer
• SAP Business ByDesign
• SAP Cloud Application Studio

1. Login to the Studio (SDK).
2. Open the affected solution.
3. Open the .codelist file and make a change into the description of any value and save.
4. When closing and opening the file again, the changes are not reflected from SDK.

The .codelist file should be marked as in an edited state (.codelist*) in order for the SDK to recognize the changes.

1. Login to SDK.
2. Open affected solution.
3. Open .codelist file.
4. Check out content.
5. Change the description of value as per your requirement.
6. Click on any other field so that there appears an * sign n.ext to the .codelist tab name on top which means that the file has been edited or 'dirty'.
7. Save and Activate.
