3283970 - Error "Condition type /SCMTMS/TOR_TYPE is not valid; choose condition with type /SCMTMS/TOR_TYPE"

Symptom

You would like to maintain Condition-Based Capacity Document Creation Settings* in a planning profile in S/4HANA TM solution.

When you try to save the setting after filling a condition, you may encounter below error message:

  • "Condition type /SCMTMS/TOR_TYPE is not valid; choose condition with type /SCMTMS/TOR_TYPE" (/SCMTMS/TS_PROF 112)

*Note: 'Capacity Document Creation Settings' is a new setting available from SAP S/4HANA 2022. See What's New in SAP S/4HANA 2022. Before S/4HANA 2022, it's an option named 'Default Business Document Type' in Planning Profile tab.
