Symptom

Is there any way to fetch Null or Empty value in report using calculated column for date field in canvas report

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
    • Analytics & Reporting (Ad Hoc, YouCalc, ORD)
      • Advanced Reporting (ODS)
      • Detailed Reporting - live data

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance and navigate to Report center
  2. Create any canvas report and try to add date field in the report
  3. Try to create a calculated column with condition where for specific date value, need Null or empty data in report
  4. Reporting tool does not allow it.

Cause

It is not possible to add empty values in date data type field as per current system design.

Resolution

Please raise an enhancement request if you need this functionality to add blank value for date fields.
