3284910 - Unable to Find The Field "Account Type" in The Front End of The System

The Account Type field is not visible under an employee's Payment Details in the employee master data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Personnel Administration work center.
2. Select the Employees view.
3. Select affected Employee and click on edit.
4. Go to Personal Data Tab.
5. Click on Payment Information.

Observe that the field 'Account Type' is not available.

The Account Type field is designed to be country-specific and is implemented only for employees whose country/region is United States (US), Germany (DE), or France (FR).

This is the expected system behavior.

The Account Type field is supported only for United States (US), Germany (DE), and France (FR). Since the field is not part of the configuration for other countries, it is not available in the employee's Payment Details.
