3285171 - Unable to click on the "Exam Usage" tab at Content

Symptom

Cannot click on the "Exam Usage" tab on the objectives level and view the exam which uses the objective.

Reproducing the Issue

Access the Learning Administration >
Content >
Objectives >
Select the objective ID >
Note that the tab "Exam Usage" is not visible anymore.

Cause

The tab "Exam Usage" is referring to the PQE Exams that are no longer supported.

To be able to access the "Exam Usage" tab, the role "View Objective Exam Usage" is required, however, in the new Learning environments which are getting created for customers, we are not adding PQE legacy roles anymore. The customers can directly use Assessments and not legacy features to create exams/quizzes.

[Note] As per the KBA 3046504 - How to disable Legacy Exam Objects (Plateau Question Editor - PQE) & Questions? even though the roles are not assigned to the role, the tabs will still be displayed under Content > Objectives in a disabled state.

Resolution

Kindly use the Assessments feature as per the SAP Help Portal Using Exam Assessments to Create Powerful Tests of Users' Knowledge, and, the administrators should be able to find the item usage by following the steps listed below:

Learning Administration >
Content >
Assessments >
Select the Assessment ID "Testing" >
Click the "Menu" button in the upper right corner >
Click "item Usage" >
Check the list of items associated with the exam.
