3285518 - Deleting Picklist is throwing error "‘Delete’ operator is only supported for a base entity template."

• Error "‘Delete’ operator is only supported for a base entity template." when validating the import with the operator DELETE
• Cannot delete a picklist that has been mistakenly created
• Duplicate picklist cannot be deleted

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Admin Center  Import and Export Data.
2. Select Import Data from the Select the action to perform dropdown list.
3. Select Picklist-Values from the Select Generic Object dropdown list.
4. Select Incremental Load from the Purge Type dropdown list.
5. Click Choose File to select the CSV file to import in the File field.
6. Click Import and check the import status in Scheduled Job Manager.
   Error "‘Delete’ operator is only supported for a base entity template." appears

"DELETE" operator is only for deleting picklist, not picklist value.

Customer should try deleting the wrong/duplicated "Picklist Value". And for that, you should use the operator "DELIMIT".
