3286019 - Left clicking to navigate to another app for cross app navigation does not trigger in UI5 1.96

• When attempting to click out of one application to navigate to another to open an item, the click action has no effect.  
• No errors appear in the console log or network tab of the developer tools
• Secondary click (right-click on right-hand mouse) or CTRL+click will open the link in a new tab/window.
