3286266 - Error "Cannot change cost rate of resource XYZ; it was used in valuation after DD.MM.YYYY" during cost rate change of a resource

You want to edit the existing labor cost rates maintained for labor resources and while changing the rate, the system throws error message "Cannot change cost rate of resource XYZ(XYZ refers to resource); it was used in valuation after DD.MM.YYYY(DD.MM.YYYY refers to date from which new rate to be ammended).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Go to Resources view.
3. Select Resource ID XYZ, then click on Edit.
4. On the Valuation tab, maintain cost rate effective from DD.MM.YYYY.
5. Error message appears: Cannot change cost rate of resource XYZ; it was used in valuation after DD.MM.YYYY.

DD.MM.YYYY is a date in the past.

The system allows the new cost rate only from today(current date) and anything prior to that won't be allowed.
