3286729 - Not able to change Business Partner Category type after creation

After creating a Business Partner, the BP category type cannot be modified. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a BP and select the category (Person, Organization, Group)
2. The Business Partner Category needs to be changed

This is the standard behavior. Once the BP has been created, it is not possible to change the BP category (field BUT000-TYPE).

The only way is to create a different BP or delete/archive the current one then create a new one with the correct category.
