3287096 - How do I change a model to use the new CPC Hana Engine in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

With a recent update to Hana, the query analytic processing engine inside Hana was refactored.  This new processing engine is called CPC and is documented in SAP note 3139162 .  How do you change a model to use the new CPC engine?

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.21

The feature can be enabled by turning on the "Use Optimized Scenario Composer of Analytical Engine" setting under the "Data and Performance" section of the model preferences.

To change this setting:

1. Load the model
2. Go to Model Preferences
3. Go to "Data and Performance section"
4. Under maintenance, toggle the setting "Use Optimized Scenario Composer of Analytical Engine" to on.
5. Save the model

Warning: Using this option may change some of the values that are returned.  See the "Known Behavior changes with CPC" section of SAP note 3139162 for specifics.
