3287794 - Relative Selections Missing in Report Fields

You notice that in some reports, there are no relative selections on some fields. For similar fields, relative selections are available.

For example, you may notice that the report field "Employee" has relative selections such as Employee - My User Name, My Workforce and Me, etc.

However the report field "Task Approver", which also refers to employees, has no relative selections.

Relative selections are automatically added based on the data type of the respective field. For example:

There is a relative selection on "Employee" because the underlying data type supports the concept of employee relationships.

The field "Task Approver" and its data type however merely refer to users in the system. This field cannot reflect employee relationships, so no relative selections are available.

Requests for new relative selections on standard fields cannot be accepted via incidents, however you can reach out to product management via the Influence portal.

Please check if you can use an alternative field which has the selection you require.
