3287905 - Module picker redirects to an unexpected page

• Clicking on the My Employee File navigation tab in the module picker redirects the user to the Help & Tutorials page instead of the User Profile.
• Module picker redirects to a page different from the expected one.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Select any module from the module picker (My Employee File, Reporting, etc) from the Module Picker dropdown.
2. The Help & Tutorials page or an unexpected page will show instead of the page corresponding to the module.

The sub tab configured for the module in the Sub Tab Configuration is set to Help & Tutorials or other page. In this example, the Help & Tutorials page is selected for My Employee File.

Make sure that the affected user is logged-in to his/her own account and not just via Proxy.

1. Click the Settings/Options menu from the user menu at the top right of your global header.
2. In Settings page, click the Sub Tab Configuration
3. In the affected module, choose the relevant subtab. For example, in My Employee File, select Employee Files to view the user profile when clicking on Employee Files from the module picker.
4. Hit Save
   
   
   
   
5. Go to the module and refresh the page a couple of times.

If refreshing the page does not work, go to Home and then go back to My Employee File again.

NOTE: This is not limited to the My Employee File tab. Issue can also happen to other module/pages. User needs to set the appropriate sub tab configuration for each module in the module picker to make all the modules link work.
