Symptom
The following issue is being faced when trying to upload a PDF to a Sales Order or Billing Document:
"Read error during PC upload: An error occurred when uploading to SAP Knowledge Provider"
If you click on the "More Info" button, the message displayed is:
"An error occurred when uploading to SAP Knowledge Provider.
Check the following possible causes:
- The document may already be open in an external application.
In this case, close the application and try again. - The system was not able to access an external content server or an external archive."
This only happens with certain PDF documents. When trying to attach a different PDF, the upload works.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
