Symptom
Pronouns element is being shown in Succession Data Model and Manage Business Configuration but is not visible in Employee Profile.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Employee Profile;
- Pronoun information is not visible in Employee Header.
Resolution
To enable pronouns, a PersonPronouns picklist must be configured.
Prerequisites
- You have the Administrator Permissions > Metadata Framework > Configure Object Definitions permission;
- You have the Administrator Permissions > Manage System Properties > Manage Employee Files permission.
Procedure
1. Enable pronouns element
- Go to Manage Business Configuration;
- Click on Employee Profile > Standard > pronouns;
- Change the "Enabled" option from "No" to "Yes".
2. Create picklist values
- Go to Admin Center > Picklist Center;
- Click the "+" add icon to create a picklist for pronoun;
- Enter the picklist data. The value for the "Code" field must be PersonPronouns;
- Use the "+" add to create a new picklist value. The "Add New Value" window is displayed;
- Enter picklist values;
- Save your changes.
Next steps
For pronouns to be displayed on People Profile and quickcards, the option "Allow employees to maintain their pronouns option" must be enabled in Admin Center > Configure People Profile > General Settings.

Please note:
- If pronouns element is not available under People Profile in Manage Business Configuration or in Succession Data Model, it means that it is not configured. To check how to configure it, please refer to the KBA 3265384 - Standard elements introduced in 2H 2022 Release not available in Manage Business Configuration - SAP ONE Support Launchpad.
- Users can only add Pronouns to themselves, not to other employees in the system. For admins, they need to proxy as the user in order to be able to add the pronouns or import them in bulk via Basic User Information.
