• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

For admin users, make sure you have the following permissions.

• Administrator Permissions > Metadata Framework > Configure Object Definitions
• Administrator Permissions > Manage System Properties > Configure People Profile

And have configured the pronouns standard element in the Succession Data Model or Manage Business Configuration

In SuccessFactors Data Model, the below details should be available:

In Manage Business Configuration, pronouns should be enabled:

To enable pronouns, a PersonPronouns picklist must be configured.

1. Go to Admin Center > Picklist Center.
2. Click the + Add icon to create a new picklist for pronouns.
3. Enter the picklist details.
   • The Code field must be set to PersonPronouns.
4. Click + Add to create a new picklist value.
5. In the Add New Value window, enter the desired picklist values.
6. Save your changes.

Please note: 

• If pronouns element is not available in Manage Business Configuration or in Succession Data Model, it means that it is not configured. To check how to configure it, please refer to the KBA 2555493 - Missing Standard Elements in BCUI - SAP for Me
• Users can only add Pronouns to themselves, not to other employees in the system. For admins, they need to proxy as the user in order to be able to add the pronouns or import them in bulk via Basic User Information.
• Basic configurations, such as RBP and feature enablement, fall under the platform’s purview. However, if these configurations are applied on specific module pages and the changes (e.g., pronouns) are not reflected, they should be handled by the respective module team.
