Candidate is getting the error below when accessing the RMK career site.

" This page isn’t working right now

careers.COMPANY.com redirected you too many times. 

To fiz this issue, try clearing your cookies.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

1. Go to External career site
2. Get the error message ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

There could be many different root causes. These are the ones we have identified so far:

1. Improperly Configured DNS Records
2. Issue related to cache or cookies
3. The redirect URL was set to "yes" in the Site configuration tab
4. Presence of Break Line Character in XML settings

As per the possible root causes, we have three scenarios that cause the error message, there are some processes that must be checked in Recruiting Marketing to access the external career site - please kindly note this error message comes from our core system and cannot be customized/personalized:

1. Improperly Configured DNS Records
   
    When the SSL certificate installation is completed (KBA 3109381) some actions are required from the customer's end or implementation partner to complete all the processes to allow the Production career site to go alive. Normally the recommended actions involve one of the following items:
   

   Domain -  If the domain is not yet active and the career site is not pointing to SAP, that is there is no Domain Name System (DNS) entry, this means that the customer/partner needs to create a CNAME entry. You can check the instructions in the following KBA for that 2563741.

   CNAME - A Canonical Name record (abbreviated as CNAME record) is a type of resource record in the DNS used to specify that a domain name is an alias for another domain (the 'canonical' domain). This typically involves the customer's IT department in order to follow the recommended action from SAP. An example would be the configuration of a CNAME entry to point the customer's domain such as careers.customer-example.com to a job2web domain from SAP such as SITEID.jobs2web.com.

     
2. Issue related to cache or cookies
   
   Often the issue is only on the customer side and is not reproducible by other users, in an incognito window or in other browsers, it is recommended to perform a cache and/or cookies cleaning.
   
3. The redirect URL was set to "yes" in the Site configuration tab
   
   If not used the  Redirect feature correctly (KBA: 2245686) this can create an infinite loop and too many redirections. To fix the issue in this case go to CSB > Setting > Site configuration, and set the redirect URL to "no". Save the process.
   
   Note: If the issue persists, you can try to perform a site reload by going to CSB > Tools > Brand Management > Click on save without making any changes to the page.
   
4. Presence of Break Line Character in XML settings
   

   Review the Career Site Builder XML file under CSB > Tools > Export/Import, if there is any unintended break line character from the XML settings. This error can occur when break lines are unintentionally added during manual edits of the XML file, often due to text editor behavior. To prevent similar issues, it is advised to avoid manual changes and use supported tools for configuration management, such Notepad ++.
