3288636 - High CPU utilization for SAPSprint process on Windows Server

Symptom

  • Randomly throughout the day, high CPU consumption peaks occur due to the Windows SAPSprint process. These CPU consumption peaks are constant and reach such an extent that the Windows environment becomes inoperative. When this consumption is high in the process, the SAPSprint process finally is restarted.
  • The following KBA was checked with no success:
    2242185 - High CPU utilization for SAPSprint process
  • An error on Windows Event log viewer is recorded with Event ID 7031
