3288706 - Exchange Rate Type & Translation Date Type can't be edit in SSCUI 103379_Define Currency Settings for Ledgers and Company Codes

You find that Exchange Rate Type & Translation Date Type can't be edit in SSCUI 103379_Define Currency Settings for Ledgers and Company Codes for some company codes.

1. Open SSCUI or Activity "Define Currency Settings for Ledgers and Company Codes", you will find Exchange Rate Type & Translation Date Type can't be edit for some company codes, for example, 1790.
   
   

Please check currency settings for the company code.  You can’t add Exch. Rate Type and Translation date type to the company code 1790, because the source currency (Company code currency) and the Currency into which conversion is to be made (Group Currency) is same USD.  There is no need to convert an USD amount to USD. 

It is standard system design.
