3289119 - Alien number/USCIS number is being ask when user I-766 form is selected

In I-9 section-2 page, when selecting form I-766, an error appear that Alien # or USCIS # is required

On I-9 section-2 page, if the user selected the employment authorization card ( I-766) document number then the system doesn’t ask to provide USCIA/Alien# and as a result, there is no field to enter this information.

I-9 doesn't have a requirement to collect alien number when the I-766 document is presented. However, E-Verify requires it. Currently, if new hire has provided an I-766 document without an alien number, e-verify will not be triggered.

By capturing the USCIS/Alien#, we prevent all E-Verify rejections.
