• The number of workflows to be approved is not the same (more approvals in the Pending Requests tile)
• There are more approvals in Pending Requests tile than on Approvals section

To-Do Approval section is static, so when the workflow is triggered, only the current approvers will get the workflow displayed in the To-Do approval section. If there was update in the workflow approval later after workflow triggered, system will not display the workflow in the to-do, but it will be available in the pending workflow request (as it is dynamic).

If you see more approvals in the Pending Requests card then on Approvals section

Workflows in Approval on Home Page will be removed after 90 days (default period) if there is no action taken. However, these workflows are still in pending status and waiting for approval. Therefore, it is expected that on Pending Request page/Approval requests in To-do panel user can still access them and approve them.

The difference between Pending Requests and My Workflow Requests

My Workflow Requests: Approver to work on their pending workflow requests. 

Pending requests: There are four blocks on these page to provide different views from approver, initiator, previous approver, Contributor and CC role.
