3289482 - Error 10304 when executing DBCC CHGINDCACHEDVALUE - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • 10304 error, "Only the owner of object '<object-name>' or a user with 'sa_role' role can run this command.'", is reported when "DBCC CHGINDCACHEDVALUE(<database-name>.<object-owner>.<object-name>)" is executed in a database other than the database named in the DBCC command.
  • The DBCC is executed by the object owner
  • The object owner has the 'own database' privilege on the database the DBCC is executed in..
