3289887 - Survey View Available in Sales Quotes But Not Available in Sales Orders

You noticed the Surveys view inside sales quotes but you do not see this as option for your sales orders. You may be aware of the fact that they share the same underlying business object and wonder why this happens.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Open the Sales Quotes view.
3. Open sales quote ABC (where ABC is the ID of a sales quote).
4. You can see a Surveys view (or can include this view in adaptation mode).
5. Go to the Sales work center.
6. Open the Sales Orders view.
7. Open sales order DEF (where DEF is the ID of a sales order).
8. You cannot see a Surveys view (or cannot include this view in adaptation mode).

Technically Sales Orders and Sales Quotes share the same business object, but they are not same entities. Their UIs are completely different and developed based on business requirements. Having Surveys view in Sales Orders was not a business requirement and that is the reason it is not available now. This is not a bug, it is a new requirement.
