3290044 - Error QI128 or QI108 is returned by BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS

Symptom

Results are recorded for inspection lot with BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS.

In RETURNTABLE of the BAPI, one of below error messages is visible:

'Sample for characteristic with inspection charac. was not specified' (message nr: QI128)

'Sample for characteristic with confirmation no. not available' (message nr: QI108)

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
