Symptom

Searching in WBS Element field is case sensitive when creating new task in app "Manage My Timesheet".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to app "Manage My Timesheet".
  2. Click Create Task-->Other Accounting Object.
  3. Click F4 of WBS Element field.
  4. Searching WBS by mix of upper and lower class letters will get nothing.
    Searching WBS by the same combination of upper and lower class letters is successful.

Cause



Resolution

It's an expected behaviour, currently search is case sensitive.
It's same behaviour in previous releases as well.
