3290116 - When totals exceed 14 digits in stacked chart types, the values get rounded in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

For stacked chart types (Stacked Bar/Column, Combination Stacked Column & Line, Marimekko), when the totals value exceeds 14 digits it will get rounded and hence appears to be no longer precise.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2022.21

1. Create a new Stacked Bar/Column, Combination Stacked Column & Line, Marimekko
2. Add one or more measures with big values, such that the stacked total values displayed on top, or bottom of a bar or column exceed 14 digits
3. Notice the total value is not a precise sum of all the numbers in the stack

This behavior is by design with Highcharts

Floating points numbers need to be converted to a specific precision for sum calculation(in this case 14 was chosen by the charting library) to avoid JavaScript numeric errors such as 0.1+0.2 != 0.3.
