3290551 - Required Fields validation while using Get Feedback

Required Field Permissions are not working in Get Feedback Step - Performance Management.

When User sends the performance form to another user to get feedback. Feedback provider submit the form and send back to recipient.

Here provider don't face any error for required fields ex : section comments  

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Log in to the system as a Manager.
2. Navigate to the Performance module.
3. Open the relevant performance form.
4. Click on the Get Feedback option.
5. Share the form with a feedback provider.
6. The feedback provider opens the form and enters feedback.
7. The provider sends the form back to the manager.

Observed Behavior:

• The feedback provider is able to submit the form without encountering any required field validation errors.

Expected behavior as per design

When using Get Feedback, the form is not being sent to the next step by the feedback provider. It is being sent back to the EM step (user that added Get Feedback provider).

Therefore, the required field will not be validated, as it is not technically being sent to next step.

NOTE: If the Required Field validation is set up with action id "inner_step_send" for all roles then the required field validation will apply on the Get Feedback provider. Hence if you want the required field validation to apply for the Get Feedback Provider - then you can configure the Required Field validation with "inner_step_send" action id in Form Template XML. Please note this action id cannot be set from Manage Template UI and needs to be set up from the XML.
