3290551 - Mandatory Fields while using Get Feedback

Symptom

Required Field Permissions are not working in Get Feedback Step - Performance Management.

When User sends the performance form to another user to get feedback. Feedback provider submit the form and send back to recipient.

Here provider don't face any error for required fields ex : section comments

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

performance

open form

click on get feedback

provider opens the form provides feedback

send the form back to manager

provider doesn't face any required field validation error

Cause

Expected behavior as per design

Resolution

when using Get Feedback, the form is not being sent to the next step by the feedback provider. It is being sent back to the EM step (user that added Get Feedback provider).

Therefore, the required field will not be validated, as it is not technically being sent to next step.
