3290575 - Backupserver error 7.7.2.1: Option 'label' is not valid - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A DUMP DATABASE command failed
  • The LABEL option was used
  • The label name was not quoted
  • ASE reported error 8009, “Error encountered by Backup Server. Please refer to Backup Server messages for details.”
  • The Backupserver errorlog contains the error “Backup Server: 7.7.2.1: Option 'label' is not valid.”.
