3290584 - VC-CPQ: Product configuration with Conflict messages is still being marked as Complete on Configurator

Symptom

Even if there is Conflict message, product is being marked as complete on Configurator.

Environment

Type: Test and Productive Systems connected with Variant Configuration
Product version: SAP CPQ 2023
System managed by: SAP Cloud Tenant
Sold product: SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Cause

Standard CPQ Behavior.

Resolution

During the Configurator phase on CPQ there is a difference between incomplete configurations (which lack an element that is required) and inconsistent configurations (in which there is a conflict).
Inconsistent configurations can always be added to the quote, and are flagged as inconsistent in the quote.
