3290794 - Restrictions for Advanced Valuation in Financial Accounting Jobs in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

You want to use any of the following job templates of Advanced Valuation in Financial Accounting, also called Advanced Valuation Runs, in the Schedule General Ledger Jobs app in SAP/S/4 HANA Cloud, Public Edition:

• Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation job template

• Discounting of Long-Term Assets and Liabilities job template 

• Post Credit-Risk-Based Impairment job template

• Post B/S Reclassification job template

Please note the following restrictions:

• When you use the Post Credit-Risk-Based Impairment job template, there is no posting and reporting of utilization of loss-allowances.

• For CZ the local restriction note 3218115 SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208, Local Versions: Release Restriction Note applies.

• Post Discounting of Long-Term Assets & Liabilities does not consider postings generated by the Accruals Management functions build on the Accrual Engine

• Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation does not consider postings generated by the Accruals Management functions build on the Accrual Engine

• Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation does not valuate tax accounts

• Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation does not valuate GR/IR accounts

• Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation does not consider documents from Bank Analyzer (FS-BA).

• If you are using Advanced Foreign Currency Valuation in connection with the valuation method Always Valuate, it is possible to change the functional currency retroactively. If you are using any other valuation method, retroactively changing the functional currency requires thorough analysis and consideration. 

• Post B/S Reclassifcation does not process, consider and reclassify changes in customer master data, such as change of trading partner and/or change of reconciliation account

• Post B/S Reclassifcation does not cover any investment related reporting which might be mandatory in some countries 

• Advanced Valuation in Financial Accounting jobs do not process any fields and data templates added using Custom Fields for Journal Entries Used in G/L Accounting.

• Documents from treasury management are excluded from advanced valuation because treasury management uses its own valuation solution.
