3291354 - Getting Bad Request 400 error when sending OData API request to Message Processing Logs API

Symptom

When sending requests to the Cloud Integration Message Processing Logs OData API, for specific queries you get a Bad Request error response with HTTP error code 400 and the following error message:

SAP blocks MPL OData requests because it is causing high load. For more details refer KBA-3291354.

In rare cases, there could be another Bad Request response, for OData API, such as below:

<error xmlns=http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata>

<code>Bad Request</code>

<message xml:lang="en-US">Invalid filter expression: 'myName eq 'test''.</message>

</error>
