3291565 - Overdue Performance Review Cards

Symptom

Users see overdue Review Your Performance to-do tiles for performance forms that are in the Completed status.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Home Page
  2. In 'For You Today', see cards for overdue performance forms that have already been completed

Resolution

Option 1: Disable and Delete the Cards

Follow the steps in SAP SuccessFactors What's New Viewer - Disabling and Deleting Home Page Cards

Please Note:

  • It will take 1-2 hours for the card type to be disabled
  • If the card is re-enabled at a later time, historical cards will not regenerate. Cards will only generate from the point the card is re-enabled.

Option 2: Remove and Regenerate Cards via Provisioning

As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. Please engage a Certified Partner or SuccessFactors Product Support to implement the fix.

Solution Steps For Partners and Support: The below steps will remove all To-Do data from the Card Services, including the corrupted ones, and then bring back all the correct/clean data.

  1. Go to Provisioning for the affected instance.
  2. Go to Scheduled Jobs
  3. Create a new Job of type "Migrate To-Do Entries to Card Service"
    1. Choose any admin user as Job Owner.
    2. Select Action as "Remove from Card Service".
    3. Select processing source as "Provisioning Job".
    4. Select the To-Do Category matching the To-Do type that has the issue on the home page.
    5. Run the job.
    6. Go to Monitor Jobs
    7. Check the job run status and wait for it to Complete.
      Important: For this job, the initial Completed status in Provisioning will only indicate the event initiated in the back end and does not denote the whole data processing is completed. For the true completion status, check the Job Run Details and look for a blank row to appear at the end with 'Completed' status after the row that says "Job successfully completed". This job is considered truly completed when this last blank row is visible.
  4. Create another Job of same type "Migrate To-Do Entries to Card Service".
    1. Choose any admin user as Job Owner
    2. Select Action as "Migrate to Card Service ".
    3. Select processing source as "Provisioning Job".
    4. Select the To-Do Category matching the To-Do type that has the issue on the home page.
    5. Run the job.
    6. Go to Monitor Jobs
    7. Check the job run status and wait for it to Complete.
      Important: For this job the initial Completed status in Provisioning will only indicate the event initiated in the back end and does not denote the whole data processing is completed. For the true completion status, check the Job Run Details and look for a blank row to appear at the end with 'Completed' status after the row that says "Job successfully completed". This job is considered truly completed when this last blank row is visible.
  5. Repeat the above steps for every category of To-Dos for which there are completed To-Dos showing on the Latest Home Page.
