3291601 - Changing the valuation type for a batch - SAP ERP & S/4 HANA

Symptom

You want to change the valuation type of a batch and some errors happen:

  • If you try to change this combination to the same Plant an error message will be raised: Valuation type &1 differs from valuation type of batch &2 (M7 043). 
  • It is also not possible to do a transfer posting from different Valuation Types at the same Plant. Error message 'LB 603 – Change of valuation type – check open process' will be presented.
