3292146 - No message to prompt stock deficit when using stock determination in MIGO

You enter goods issue or transfer posting with app Post Goods Movement (MIGO).
After entering required quantity and clicking on "Stock determination" button, if there is no sufficient stock, only available stock quantity is proposed in MIGO. No warning or error message is displayed.

S/4HANA Cloud system all version

1. Enter goods issue or transfer posting with app Post Goods Movement (MIGO).
2. Enter required quantity (for example, 10) which is greater than available stock quantity (for example, 6).
3. Click on "Stock determination" button, the required quantity is changed to available stock quantity (for example, 6). No message is displayed to inform the deficit of stock.

You can change the message cagetory of message MIGO065 in SSCUI 103897 "Set System Messages in Inventory Management".

a) In the standard, message cagetory for MIGO065 is delivered as blank. This means that the available partial quantity delivered by the stock determination is proposed without warning message.

b) Alternatively, you can set the message as a warning message 'W'. Through that, the system does not transfer any partial quantities in case of a deficit of the requested quantity. Additionally, a warning message is generated.

c) Alternatively, you can adjust the message as information message 'I'. Through that, the system does transfer a partial quantity in case of a deficit of the requested quantity. Additionally, a warning message is generated.
