3292265 - Sftp script doesn't work in SM49 - NetWeaver

Symptom

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

  • Sftp script works correctly in OS layer with password input.

  • In SM49 there is no interactivity to input the password for sftp. Then sftp fails with connection error.
