3292641 - The assemble or a transport request fails with error: New dependency detected

Symptom

The assemble of a transport request is failing with the errors:

  • New dependency detected: Transport Object ID ABC (where ABC represents the transport object ID)
  • Dependency source - Transport Object ID ABC (where ABC represents the transport object ID)
  • Assembly failed

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator work center.
  2. Select the Transport Management work center view.
  3. Open the transport request.
  4. Select Actions > Assemble.
  5. Error can be seen on Transport Log tab.

Cause

The transport is missing the required objects to be assembled successfully.

Resolution

Open the transport request and select Actions > Update Mandatory Dependencies.
