3293013 - No Application logs In The Scheduled Run

Symptom

The Application Log for the Mass Data Runs is empty.

Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator WC.
  2. Check the Mass Data Run view.
  3. Check the RUN ID.
  4. Check the Application Log.
  5. Go to the Results tab.
  6. No details found.

Cause

If there are no instances to execute the action on, there will be nothing to write in the application log as well.

Resolution

Make sure the MDRO’s selection parameters retrieve at least 1 BO instance and process this to get the log recorded in the system.
