3293471 - Project Names not Displayed in Project Control – Professional Services Projects (F6869)

After the SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2302 upgrade, the new app Project Control - Professional Services Projects displays only the ID of certain projects, instead of the ID and name. 
This behavior is observed for projects where the header information (including stage) has not been updated in the last 12 months.

1. Launch the app Project Control - Professional Services Projects.
   The app displays a list of customer projects and internal projects depending on the filter criteria.
2. In the list of results, observe the entries in the column Project. You may observe certain projects are displayed by their project name and ID, whereas a few others display only the project ID.

If it’s very essential to display the project name (and if it’s possible to update a project’s header information), you may resolve this by updating the header information of such projects using the respective apps Plan Customer Projects or Plan Internal Projects).

Note: Navigation to respective apps from the quick view or the Open In button is still possible even without the display of the project name.

A fix is scheduled to be addressed in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2302.1 (HFC05). The targeted hotfix pack may change without prior notification.
