Symptom
During a connection attempt with r3trans, you see a failure with the following information:
4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] *** ERROR in DB6Connect[dbdb6.c, 2009] CON = 0 CACHEID = -1 (BEGIN)
4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] &+ DbSlConnectDB6( SQLConnect ): [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL1391N The database is already in use by another instance of th
4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] &+ e database manager.
Within the db2diag.log, you see the following messages at startup:
RETCODE : ZRC=0x870F0016=-2029060074=SQLO_SHAR "File sharing violation."
DIA8519C A file sharing violation has occurred, filename was "".
