3293618 - Name changed on employee profile

When viewing a user profile, a different name is displayed

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

This issue was found for a user using Spanish locale with the first name of "Margarita"

Using Microsoft Edge
Set your language to Spanish in SF through Settings > Change Language
View the user profile of a user with a first name "Margarita" in personal details of Biographical details
Note the name is currently correct
Right click and select the browser option "Translate to English"
Note the name "Margarita" changes to "Daisy" (Daisy is the English Translation for Margarita)
Different browser may give different results - some tests with Chrome change it to "Daisy Flower" other tests did not change it at all

**Note: Not all areas on the page where "Margarita" wil change to "Daisy" > for example the profile header never changed in my tests.
Other translations may happen to other values throughout the profile > again it could be different for different browsers and versions
Some tests on Edge where the user title was España resulted in España translating to Australia

This could apply to other languages and values 

This is a browser issue and how the browser translates different values on the profile

It is not a SuccessFactors issue and the users data is not changing in SuccessFactors - it is just a view change when using the browsers translate tool

Refresh the page to revert back to your original language

Use the SuccessFactors change language option in settings should you need to change the language in the instance
