Symptom

  • Can Azure AD be migrated to Azure B2C and still supported for authentication?
  • IAS configured Azure can be supported for any version?

Environment

SAP Successfactors HXM Core

Resolution

  • If the SF is not using IAS and is directly configured with Azure for SSO, then SF supports SAML 2.0 and can have SSO setup with any SAML 2.0 compliant SSO provider. Whether Azure B2C is a SAML 2.0 compliant SSO provider is a question for Azure support team.

  • If the SF is IAS integrated, then the Azure configuration will be in IAS, as corporate IdP. In that case this should be answered by IAS support team.

  • SF treats any Azure the same, if it is SAML compatible, which should be reviewed by the Azure or IAS group, depending on the configuration.
