3294131 - How to transfer Table reports, Tiles and Dashboards between instances with Report Center?

This article explains how to transfer Report Table, Tiles and Dashboards between instances when the source and / or the destination instance have Report Center enabled.

In order to transfer Table reports or Tiles you will need to access the report center and use the 'Export' option listed under each report menu:

1. Go to the report center.
2. Locate the desired Report / Tile, click the action menu and select 'Export'.
     This will download the file to your computer. The file format will differ depending on the type of report exported:
   
   Report - Table (Ad Hoc): .sfr
   Dashboard Tiles: exported as .zip and extracted file will be .epix
   
   
   Please note that Tile Based Dashboards cannot be exported, the option will be grayed out:
   
    

After exporting the desired reports, you can access the destination instance to import them:

1. Navigate to Report Center in the destination instance and click the 'Import' button on the top right corner.
   
    
2. A window will pop up and it is possible to select a file from the computer to be imported.
3. For table reports, the .sfr file must be selected and it can be renamed during the import.
4. For Tiles, it is possible either to import the .zip file or extract its .epic content and select it directly, those can also be renamed during the import.
5. Once the import completes, confirmation about the upload will pop up.
