Symptom
When creating a 24-hour working day in a clock times work schedule, for example from 08:00AM to 08:00AM the next day, the following error message occurs: "End time on day 1 is the same as the start time. Please correct this. "

Environment
- SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
- SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off
- SuccessFactors Time Tracking
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to 'Manage Data'.
- Select 'Work Schedule' in Create New.
- Set 'Time Recording Variant' to 'Clock Times', and 'Cross Midnight Allowed' to 'Yes'.
- Click on 'Details'.
- Set the same start and end time with Category 'Scheduled Working Time', and click on Done button.
- Save the work schedule and the following error occurs:
Cause
This is the standard design.
Resolution
Please set the End Time as Start Time minus one minute.
For example, if the Start Time is 08:00AM, please set the End Time as 07:59AM instead of 08:00AM.
This will avoid the error as a workaround.
Similar situation also happens with Work Schedule Day Model, as mentioned in KBA 3253281 - Unable to create a work schedule day model with the same start time and end time.
