3294422 - Supplier Data is Missing in the Supplier Collaboration Data Report

 You are missing supplier data from Supplier Collaboration Data report.

1. Go to Supplier Base work center
2. Select the Reports view
3. Search for report Supplier Collaboration Data
4. Select and search for Supplier ID 
5. Select the Apply button 

The report is not reflecting all the Suppliers.

The data source behind report Supplier Collaboration Data is not suitable to find not existing collaboration data.

From the database point of view, the data source uses existing collaboration data as an anchor and then links supplier data to it. As a consequence, if a supplier data is missed in any collaboration data (such as output channel definitions), it won't appear at all in the report.

You can create an own data source, by following the below steps:

1. Go to Business Analytics work center 
2. Select the option Design Data Source 
3. Select on the New button 

Here the Data source can be an OUTER join from (for example) data source SUPPLIER ("Supplier master data") joined to data source Supplier Collaboration Data. The JOIN condition is that the Supplier in Supplier Master Data equals Supplier in Supplier Collaboration Data. User could then select any interesting fields (which should be filled in case of existing collaboration data) as view fields and use this data source to find supplier with empty (i.e. non-existing) collaboration data.

In case Business Partner simultaneously plays the roles of an Account and a Supplier, the data of the corresponding Satellite Object /DOC/OM_COMM_ARRANGEMENT which carries collaboration data are toggled forth and back for the document types which overlap the roles, according to their last access. While this toggling is performed for transactional access reasons, it - in these rare cases - results in a flaw of data representation in analytics reporting. However, currently there is no collaboration between the two business object (Business Partner and Communication Arrangement, respectively). Hence, kindly update your idea in our Influence Portal.
