3294690 - Transaction log restores taking too long - SAP ASE

Symptom

  1. Loading a transaction log dump seeing following messages written to the ASE errorlog:

00:0006:00000:00270:2023/01/23 11:05:59.40 server  Recovery is unable to allocate the preferred number of hash buckets (10223) for the committed transaction table and has automatically scaled this down to 5119 buckets, which may adversely affect the performance of recovery.  Increase the size of the procedure cache if this problem persists.
00:0004:00000:00270:2023/01/23 11:06:01.46 server  Log contains all committed transactions until 2023/01/22 06:19:03.49 for database dbname.
00:0004:00000:00270:2023/01/23 11:06:03.04 server  Timestamp for database 'dbname' is (0x84fd, 0x5b18dfda).
00:0007:00000:00270:2023/01/23 11:06:04.07 kernel  Reenlistment of DTC Transactions Complete
00:0007:00000:00270:2023/01/23 11:06:04.37 server  Cleanup of preallocated pages for database 'dbname' completed, 0 extents cleaned.

  2. Loading transaction log dumps using sql script seeing a pause (appx 10 minutes) in-between transaction logs:
