3295046 - Filter displays extra values for compensation domain report - Compensation

Symptom

When selecting filter option, in adhoc report for compensation domain, it brings more values than the values in the compensation worksheet.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create adhoc report using compensation domain
  2. Select a compensation template in the data sets
  3. Then in the filters, under Compensation Plan Entries, select a field from the worksheet
  4. You might see many values under "by my selection":

Cause

That happens because we have a limitation with adhoc where it pulls values from the internal data base column ID, which is shared between multiple templates.

Resolution

You can reduce the extra values by purging all deleted worksheets, but even after that you might still get some extra values due to live worksheets. That is the current system expected behavior.
